Our Kickstarter to support the production of the pilot episode for our animated science fiction series Lunatics! is now live! The pilot episode will be titled "No Children in Space" and follows the youngest colonist on her journey to the Moon to join the colony. Lunatics Project | lunatics.tv CC By-SA 3.0 Added 2026-07-13: This was the "Big Ask" Kickstarter that we did to see if we could fundraise enough to fast-track the pilot production, much as Blender Foundation/Institute/Studio had with their open movie projects (at this time, the latest had been "Sintel" and "Tears of Steel" was in production, IIRC. Sadly it did not make it. So we did it the hard and slow way after that. Possibly that was a blessing. I don't know what it would've looked like had we done it that way. Probably pretty different.
