https://tv.filmfreedom.net/videos/watch/9ef20246-9cc9-4b45-9426-e65ba4b6b221 A little bit of a format change for this log -- I'm doing an unboxing (my first). This is a group of people I've been following on the Fediverse for years now as they develop their manufacturing capabilities. So, they have regular factory-produced products in their store, but they also have a lot of their own short-run products of their own design, using 3D printing and casting methods. 00:00 Intro: About New Ellijay TV and Mountain Town Toys 01:06 "Filibus: The Mysterious Air Pirate" 01:52 The Actual Unboxing 07:54 Review / Photos 09:31 Lunatics Progress: Descriptive Audio, Collecting Credits, Lost Audacity File Scare (I found them after recording!) 11:32 US-ians: GO VOTE! 11:51 Outro 12:03 Peaceful Sunset and Evening Chorus Mountain Town Toys: https://www.mountaintowntoys.com/ The Filibus Figure I Bought: https://www.mountaintowntoys.com/product/filibus-sky-pirate-fun-size-heroes-jumpsuit-edition/ It should probably be noted that these are "art toys", not vetted for child safety. I suspect the heads might come off a little too easily and become choking hazards, so not for the little ones, anyway. We syndicate New Ellijay TV, so you can watch them on our site: @video@vod.newellijay.tv But they actually are at https://vod.newellijay.tv/@video This video was NOT sponsored (unless you count the free samples, I guess). I just wanted to do it. I feel strongly about making the Fediverse a successful place for artists to market their wares, instead of relying on big corporate platforms, and that means we have to support each other. I've been exploring a lot of ideas for "Lunatics!" merch, and that's one of the reasons I take such an interest in their toy-making projects. Little Hiromi and Georgiana figures would be cool, wouldn't they?
